Welcome
to the Goldberg Multimedia Archive!

The Multimedia
Archive is an instructional resource for our
faculty and graduate students, currently offering
over 9,000
records. We are in the process of adding more records
as well as the ability to cross-search several other
university collections.
Click
here to access the archive. You will need an
OSU account to log in and be a member of the History
Department.

New authentication system: The
Archive now uses the OIT Authentitcation scheme instead
of Humanities, so please use your "OSU" username/password
(the one with the 'dot').
We've added more images, with over a
hundred photos from World War II thanks to Professor
Austin Kerr, as well as hundreds of maps of U.S. History.
We have added over 4000 new images

Center if you need additional help using the database.
The search engine now accepts Boolean
operators (AND, OR and NOT) as well as the 'sounds
like' operator (a tilde '~' after the word). |
Report a Mislabeled
or Erroneous Entry
Please help us keep the Archive as
accurate as possible. Tell
us when you encounter a mislabeled , erroneous
or unusable record so that we can fix it. We also
have
a quick
form on the site to make it easier as well as
a link at the bottom of each record's catalog info.
Adding to the
Archive
We welcome additions to the Archive's collection.
In order for us to upload new records we require the appropriate
cataloguing information. Although we can scan
small batches of material, we ask that you provide
digital copies of your media.
The Future: "The Goldberg Archive"
In the next year we will be adding
cross-collection searching, allowing users to search
the contents of the Visual Resources Library at the
History of Art and the Digital Library at the Knowlton
School of Architecture. We will also add more search
options and image tools.
